About Me

I am a young nurse with a passion for exploring new cultures and meeting new people. I'm excited to be a part of the Couchsurfing community and can't wait to connect with fellow travelers from all over the world!

When I'm not busy with work, you can usually find me pursuing my other interests. One of my biggest passions is nutrition, and I love to experiment with different recipes in my spare time. I also have recently found a passion for high heels dancing.
In addition to these interests, I also enjoy staying active through 3D aka smart fitness. I also love to go thrifting.

While I enjoy socializing and meeting new people, I don't drink alcohol and prefer a more relaxed atmosphere over a nightclub. In fact, I would much rather spend an evening playing board games and enjoying good conversation with new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was a child, I used to dream of being invisible so that I could observe how other people live and design their houses. While I may not be invisible, Couchsurfing allows me to connect with locals and gain a unique perspective on their way of life. By staying with them or hosting them in my own home, I can learn about their customs, traditions, and daily routines.

Interests

Basically I'm a cat-loving, coffee-drinking, thrifty, game-playing, adventure-seeking, health-conscious, clean-freak who's always up for a road trip and ready to help declutter your space!🤣

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my all-time favorite TV shows is Anne, a heartwarming and inspiring series that never fails to put a smile on my face. I also used to be a big fan of medical shows like Grey's Anatomy, but after starting to work in a hospital myself, I found them to be a bit unrealistic!
Favorite movie: 1+1

In terms of music, I have a pretty eclectic taste and enjoy listening to different genres. However, I find myself gravitating towards pop and indie music most of the time. I love to listen to music while I'm driving, it helps me to relax and enjoy the ride.

While I used to be an avid reader, lately I haven't had as much time to devote to books. However, I'm always on the lookout for a good recommendation and love discovering new authors and stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As an ICU nurse, I've had the privilege of being involved in some incredible moments that have truly amazed me. One of the most amazing things I've done is helping to resuscitate people and bring them back to life. Being a part of a team that works tirelessly to save a life is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience that I will never forget.

I've also had the opportunity to participate in autopsy, which was a fascinating and unforgettable experience.

One amazing thing that I’ve done outside the job and that people find hard to believe is that almost everything in my apartment is thrifted! I have a real talent for finding great deals on secondhand items, from furniture to clothing and everything in between. It's a fun and eco-friendly way to furnish my home and express my personal style.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a nurse with experience in the medical field, I have many interesting stories and experiences to share with my Couchsurfing hosts. From heartwarming stories of patients recovering from serious illnesses to the adrenaline-filled moments of working in an ICU, I love sharing my unique perspective on the world of medicine with others.

In addition to my nursing stories, I also enjoy cooking and would be more than happy to share some of my favorite recipes with my hosts. Whether it's trying out a new dish together or simply swapping cooking tips and tricks, I love connecting with others over food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I come from Estonia, a country known for its delicious sweets and chocolates, I would love to share some of our local delicacies with my Couchsurfing hosts. Whether it's a box of chocolates or some traditional Estonian sweets, I believe that food is a wonderful way to connect with others and share our culture and traditions.

In addition to sweets, I am also happy to share my knowledge of Estonian culture and history with my hosts. Whether it's recommending local sights and attractions, sharing stories of my own experiences, or simply answering questions about my country and its people, I love to connect with others and learn from different perspectives.

Also if my hosts are in need of some extra help around the house, I would be more than happy to lend a hand with cleaning and decluttering.

I truly enjoy the process of taking a cluttered or disorganized space and transforming it into a clean, functional, and beautiful area. Whether it's organizing a closet, tidying up a kitchen, or tackling a messy bedroom, I love the satisfaction of creating a space that feels calm and inviting.

As a guest in someone else's home, I understand the importance of being respectful and considerate of their space. I would always make sure to ask my hosts for permission before organizing or decluttering any areas and would work with them to ensure that their needs and preferences are taken into account.
