I`m marketing-traveler from Ukraine. Looks strange, I`ll try to explain :) For 5 years at the university, I studied marketing. And I still like it and work in this sphere. But much more I want not to waste my life in the office. I cant live without bright emotions. While I have an opportunity, I wish to see as many countries and places as I can. Also, I`m a volunteer in NGO "Foundation of regional initiatives". Shortly, we make Ukraine a better place for living for youth and not only. I definitely can say "I`m Ukrainian and I proud of it". We make a country for our next generation. I prefer to spend time with good interesting people, like to know something new from them. Every person is a book. Different topics, but all of them are interesting in some sphere. I think that nothing is impossible if you really want it. And if you want it - you have to reach your goal. You will find ways if you actually need it. I can talk a lot about psychology if you don`t find it boring) I`m more introvert than extrovert. It means that sometimes I`m not really good sometimes at finding a topic and starting a conversation, however, I would be happy to discuss any topic you find interesting or I can just become a great listener. I don`t drink any alcohol. I don`t like night clubs. I used to sleep at night.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I enjoy Couchsurfing as the idea. Not always I`m looking for hosts on this site, sometimes I find them occasionally, even during the hitchhiking :) In Kyiv, I offer my room sometimes, when I`m able to do it and when I`m personally in Kyiv too. If I can`t host you, I`m always glad to show you the city and some specific places! Couchsurfing is much more than just bed in other country/city. It`s a society, where you will find people with various background. Traveler, Teacher, Manager, Worker - doesn`t matter who you are, you always have a unique experience, no one other has. Exchanging of this experience gives me an opportunity to see the world wider than I saw it before. I`ve tried traveling with organized tours, living in hotels, hostels, etc. It`s a nice idea when you have little time and want to visit some very basic sights anyone tourist should see. But if I have more than 1-2 days I prefer staying with locals, cause it`s the best way to explore the real life of the city and find some "secret" places.
Music, Movies, and Books
Well, favorite music is the hard question for me. I don`t have specific lovely singer or group, I enjoy exact tracks. It may be a full album (as it usually happens with me about Imagine Dragons) or unknown songs with small local groups. I like different kinds of music, it often depends on the mood. Mostly it`s Ukrainian and English/American music, sometimes including salsa tracks. Every occasion in my life brings its music, that will remind me about that occasion and it`s the BEST part of the music, as for me. What about books, the last book that I read and liked was Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. There is something to think about this book. Since that time I really enjoy reading and watching anti-utopian books/films. Am I a pessimist?)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
It`s not one, my parents think, that almost everything I do is amazingly crazy) Few facts, maybe you`ll find some of them amazing: * Lived in USA for 3 months * Traveled more than 10000 km via hitchhiking * Crossed the border without money * Had lost in New York just before my flight I can`t describe all places, where we slept during the travels, almost every of them is amazing :)
Teach, Learn, Share
And i`m ready to learn almost everything, i`m open-mind for new knowledge. Any story from your life you can share with me, I`m a good listener.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I`m a professional Educational Adviser and help people get admitted to the American Universities. If it`s on your list, I`ll be definitely helpful. However, it`s not life-goal for the majority of people, so let's take a look at other points. * Cook Ukrainian dishes * Become a super listener * Share some hitchhiking stories or tips * Share Ukrainian culture, souvenirs, strange traditions * Show my favorite sights in Kyiv * Tell fuck-up stories about my trips and life
My Interests
In free time I like walking and see new places. Like to read books. Also among my interests are marketing and psychology. I`m trying to improve myself in different ways: from working out to communicate with people.
