About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making art and movies, cooking and sharing that, surfing, travelling and meeting you.

ABOUT ME

I love travelling, and the more I do it the more like it. I love this felling of being cut from what i know, of descovering new places, meeting people. It helps me understand who I am and what i'm doing "Here".
I'm fond of art, and specificaly, of contemporary art. I love cinema, theatre, dance, music, reading a good book, drinking a good glass of wine, good food from every where.
I started surfing recently and I'm hooked!
What else... too much... stepping aside!
and cooking for you!

PHILOSOPHY

Spontananious excesive hedonist.
I like to be changed and to challenge myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lots of the best travelling experiences and encounters that I made those last few year are thanks to Couchsurfers I met, now I can’t envision a trip without it. I adds so much!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a tendency to enjoy movies with super long, still and silent shots... I really do love thoses.
Antonioni, Gus Van Sant, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Jia Zhang-ke, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Jean Eustache, Godard, Agnès Varda, Béla Tarr, Lars Van Trier... and many more.
But biside of that I'd watch everything.

A few recent and less recent books I loved : Roberto Bolano "The Savage detectives", Milan Kundera "the unbareble lightness of being", Bioy Casares "the invention of Morel", Servantes "Don Quichote", Paul Auster, Bukowsky, Sarah Kane, Houellebecq, Murakami...

Music-wise : Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, Black Keys, The Beattles, Django Django, The Black Angels, Caribou, Timber Timbre, Connan Mockasin, Eliott Smith, Serge Gainsbourg, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, LCD Sound System,
Metronomy, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, The Rapture, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Beach House...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, the list is growing in different fields but I spent one month crossing the Atlantic aboard of a cargoship for a personal art project. Amazing experience!
