Originally from Delhi, I stay in Bangalore, India as a software engineer with Microsoft. My wife is a finance major working with Innovaccer as a corporate strategist.

Boring stuff aside, we Iove to watch movies/TV shows lying on our couch, read books till we fall asleep, play board games with our friends (more like fight over them), catch some theatre and comedy shows and travel (obviously)!

We both are introverts and like to have our space and give others their space. But that said, we can be very good at (small group) conversations, partying, dancing at clubs and trying new interesting activities.

We love it when we go to new cities and locals share the city secrets with us, their favourite places to eat or sit peacefully or roam around. We can be a bit touristy but not the “top 10 things to do” kind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never liked the idea of hotels. I always felt disconnected from the place I was visiting, talking to people who were paid to smile at me. When I discovered CS, it made total sense. If you get it, you get me.

Interests

I would call myself a curious person who wants to know about anything and everything. But I'm lazy too. I am majorly into movies, board games, food, books, travel, a little into painting and shopping and really want to get into wildlife photography, video games and volunteering for non-profits.

I can teach you how to cook Indian food (I have been cooking my own food for a decade now and my wife hasn’t puked once), maybe help with your computer science courses lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to roam around the city in the day time and would love to hangout with you in the night time (only if you want to and you are free, no obligations) after your work is over and you want to let off some steam. We can sit by the lake or hit a bar or hangout at your house and chat over food and drinks. I have lived in India my whole life, so all my knowledge and opinions are yours to be destroyed.
