Born and bread in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka. While my junior representations were in rugby, soccer, rifle shooting and karate, I find my self enjoying a frequent game of badminton. If your used to playing come join us. Growing up, I also spent time on stage and in Christian youth leadership.

Spent 3 years away from Sri Lanka studying Finance and Marketing at Deakin University, Melbourne Australia. I also played a lot of rugby and was a Student Union Rep.

I was actively engaged in my family business in Property Developing and Hospitality. I also run my own business selling interior solutions, Construction, international trade and mainly Manufacturing.

I am passionate about Youth Entrepreneurship and leadership development. Most importantly community development projects. Look up Smile Sri Lanka Carnivals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve grown up having friends All over the world and it’s been a delight learning about all sorts of cultures, cuisines, opinions. My work takes me all over the world. I have been a people person all my life. It really helps to have familiar faces when I move around. CS has always been a great tool to connect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam accross the Murray Darling River from New South Wales to Victoria, Australia. 350 mtrs of freezing water and strong currents with zero possibilities of getting rescued! Nearly died!

Organised a Childrens Carnival that facilitated almost 3000 orphans and street kids. Started this foundation called SMILE Sri Lanka.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A comfortable room, hot water, and what ever I eat or drink. I used to be in the hospitality trade. So I am glad to share my travel and life experiences.
