About Me
Update - After a decade and a half of travels through Canada, USA, Mexico and South america, building homes and schools for some beautiful people, connecting with hundreds of indigenous people, craftsmen, volunteers...
I have returned to my roots in India. Now we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter with my wife Namrata - an architect too. We have been running occassional design-build workshops on natural building at our old studio, which was a temporary building we built on a land that was rented. We have been giving our indengous teachers a voice and an audience through - www.vanamu.org
Namrata and I have finally zeroed down on a parcel of land in Bangalore and have started designing a small urban permaculture space in the city. It is more of a shared home, where we can experiment share some beautiful learnings with people. We are doing some travel together before setting out on the building journey here. We have the city land and some crazy design to execute. We want a home to welcome artisans and artists, and give them a relevant audience in India.
We are visiting Barcelona and Granada to see Gaudi's work and look at Moorish influences. We are also presenting a paper on our home at UPF in Barcelona on 1st July. We are looking for a low budget trip to Europe and are there from June 23 - July 8.
