Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m an English language graduate with a passion for literature and cultural exchange, originally from the beautiful Soran region of Kurdistan, Iraq, and now in the UK to begin my studies. I love exploring new cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life. Whether it’s discussing a favorite book, sharing travel stories, or simply chatting about life, I’m always excited for meaningful conversations.
I’m a naturally curious person and believe that every encounter is an opportunity to learn and grow. Volunteering has been an important part of my journey, especially at the Career Development Center of Soran University, where I supported students with career planning.
Through Couchsurfing, I hope to meet open-minded travelers, exchange experiences, and explore both local and global culture in enriching ways.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with fellow travelers and people from diverse cultures. I believe in the power of authentic, face-to-face exchanges that allow me to learn from others and share experiences. Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, my goal is to build meaningful connections, explore new places through local perspectives, and create lasting memories with people who share a love for travel and discovery.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have watched several series of popular movies such as; Game of thrones, Breaking bad, Prison Break, and pretty little liar. I love to listen slow music and read books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I did was hiking in the breathtaking mountains around Soran, where I camped under the stars and experienced the beauty of Kurdistan’s nature in its purest form.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my knowledge of literature and English /Turkish and Kurdish language skills, whether it’s through discussing books or offering language tips.
I’m always eager to learn about new cultures, languages, and perspectives. I enjoy hearing different stories and gaining insights from fellow travelers and locals alike.
I enjoy exchanging stories about travel, personal experiences, and the beauty of cultural diversity. Whether it’s sharing a local dish from my region or a favorite book, I believe that every exchange has something valuable to offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a unique perspective on life in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, along with interesting stories about the local culture, traditions, and history. I enjoy meaningful conversations, so I’ll be happy to engage in discussions about travel, culture, or any topic that sparks curiosity.
I offer a room to sleep, a shower, clean sheets, towels, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi. As I’m currently single and on a limited budget due to unemployment, I may not be able to offer much in terms of food or drink, but I’ll do my best to share what I can. Most importantly, I can offer transportation if needed, and I’d be happy to show you around or offer a tour guide experience and friendship.
