Overview
About Me
Hey there! I am a business student living in Knoxville, TN, although Memphis is my home. I would describe myself as an intellectual with an open mind and ready to experience the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason I am on CS is to meet people from around the world with whom I may not usually have an opportunity to interact. I have frequented Airbnb and many past hosts have been very open to share their background and personal experiences, so I figure I might try doing the same here. Because I am a student, my budget is often times quite limited. However, I do not wish for something like that hinder my potential to travel, visit, and learn about places and the people that live there.
Interests
Hiking and other outdoor activities, amater photography, graphic design (mostly for personal applications), video games, poker, architecture, and tattoos (I have none for now, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate good art).
I closely follow the NFL, NCAA CFB, and the NBA. I'm always down to watch the Memphis Grizzlies play.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many movies to list, but I enjoy comedy and suspenseful action/thriller movies in particular. I can usually be coerced into watching a Quentin Tarantino film. Big fan of South Park as well.
Music is a tough one because I am open to many things, however smooth/chill electronic and rap are good with me. Classic and alternative rock are also favorites currently on my playlists. I may be from Tennessee, but I do not like country music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized a concert with a $100,000+ budget. Had the opportunity to meet Ziggy Marley, Juicy J and DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia), Big Gigantic, and Tyga. It was a massive undertaking but I would certainly do it again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook! My favorite thing to cook would probably be fried chicken with sweet potato fries and fried pickle chips, although homemade pizza is a close second. If someone would please teach me how to make gumbo and/or jambalaya, then I will forever be indebted to you.
I would like to bartend someday, so I've taken to learning a few mix drinks that I can share. Alternatively, I make a great bar mate if you wish to go grab a beer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One kickass fried chicken recipe (also works for fried just about anything).
A great sense of humor and an open mind for discussion.
