About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying life in Austria!
ABOUT ME
I've studied English and Geography to become a high school teacher in Austria. I was born and raised in Graz, but did a High School Exchange Year in Cessnock, Australia. I've also partcicipated in the Erasmus Program and spent a semester in Bordeaux, France. I've also spent a lot of time traveling around Europe, went back to Australia and to Morocco, which I truly fell in love with. I also spent a semester in Texas and returned to Australia to work on my dissertation on Australian Literature. On my way there I also went to South East Asia and completely fell in love with Thailand. At the end of this year I'll finally travel to Alaska, the destination of my dreams!
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life and it will take care of you!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've already couchsurfed a few times and also met at lot of nice people. I've also already hosted people and enjoyed it a lot.
I tend up to pick up backpackers from the street. Once I for example met a couple of really nice Australians in Vienna who then decided to come and stay with me in Graz for a couple of days.
Whenever I travel I try to meet up with local couchsurfers and now also try to join the regular meetings held in my city.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading a lot. I read whatever seems interesting to me - very wide variety of genres and topics. Usually buy 2nd hand books at flea markets, which I like doing a lot because you never know what you'll find. I also try to read all the English classics to broaden my knowledge. I've written my dissertation on Australian literature, so I've recently spent a lot of time reading Australian classics and contemporary fiction as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I never knew about what to pick as the one amazing thing I've done, but one of my favourite moments travelling was driving a quad bike through a Cambodian rice field while watching the sun set.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think there's lots I could teach, even more that I still need to learn and I'm willing to share as much as I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
