About Me

• For surfers:
I live in Shenzhen, not Hongkong;
I live in Shenzhen, not Hongkong, it’s two different cities.

I’m an easygoing traveler who loves exploring nature, local food, and meaningful conversations. Over the past years, I’ve visited more than 60 countries and met so many inspiring people through Couchsurfing.
I enjoy cultural exchange — sharing stories, cooking together, or simply learning how people live in different parts of the world. I truly appreciate hosts and surfers who value this genuine connection.

After a few uncomfortable experiences, I’ve learned the importance of communicating my boundaries clearly — this helps make the stay pleasant for both hosts and guests.

• I use Couchsurfing for cultural exchange and genuine connection — not for dating or hookups, business, paid services (no tour guide). If it happens, I will mention in my reference.
• I usually try to keep an early night around 10–11 pm because I feel much better with good sleep. If that’s not quite aligned with your routine, no worries — I’d be fine to stay somewhere else like a hostel or hotel.
• I don’t smoke or drink alcohol, but I don’t mind if others do — I’d just appreciate it if you could avoid smoking directly around me.
• I only add people I’ve met in person, so please don’t send a friend request unless we’ve actually met.

I’ve been part of the Couchsurfing community for 13 years.

Over the years, I’ve both hosted travelers and surfed in many homes — so I understand how it feels on both sides. I believe in respecting house rules, keeping spaces clean and tidy, and also in being understanding toward travelers who may be tired or on the road for long periods.

🌏 My first gap year (2015.10–2018.2): Southeast Asia → South Asia → Australia → Europe → North America → South America.
🌍 My second gap year (from 2024.4): China → Europe → Southeast Asia → Middle East → Europe → North Africa → Europe — Middle East-South Asia-Southeast Asia-Australia

Life is a journey, and what really matters are the experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Introduced by Leon from Netherlands in 2013 and love it since then as it’s the best way to explore a place and to break the stereotypes of a place by encounter locals. You will find we are very similar in a way despite some cultural differences.
