Take an amateur wordsmith that dreams of horses and socialism. Add an incompatibility with standard society and a constant curiosity regarding anything. Add a pinch of unconventional humour, an adversity for a monotonous life and excessive enthusiasm and you've got a reasonable chunk of me. The rest is quite difficult to grasp - I started a huge note trying to map out my existence. My immediate conclusion was that I should prioritize a healthy life, since I want to have as many years as possible to explore stuff from campervan roaming and self-sustaining habitation to developing games. Everything, yes, please and thank you.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Started off as a random thought when I found Warsaw's parks were a little chillier than I could handle at night. Lovely Gosia, who's been couchsurfing longer than I've been alive, took me in and showed me the way. That all turned into me hosting a bunch of travellers from around the world and opening my doors, which inevitably brought on lovely experiences and real connections.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge lover of music. I grew up a metal-head but since spread out across lots if genres. I've got an S-Tier playlist to kill for - check it out: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1fPBOwCSkRmKWIGia8Pp92?si=bf2d61d640b84557 I'm ashamed to say I'm behind schedule when it comes to reading but it's great novels and poetry that make me happy - it's just Visniec I really read when it comes to poetry, and Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee left a profound impression. I can't say I'm a cinema nut, but I'd love to explore acting and regularly cry remembering Ian McKellen's Gandalf so masterfully employed. There's definitely a bunch of movies that changed me - The Matrix, Mr. Nobody, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Antichrist, Spirited Away. On my favourites list there's Lord of the Rings (which I have watched way too many times. Roughly once every year, each, for the past 12 years), some more obscure Romanian modern and classic films, Inception - point one out and I'll probably say OH - YES, THAT TOO.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I traveled the country for 5 days, from abandoned mine shafts and hospitals to forgotten beaches and forests, then, no money in my pocket, I moved to London. I also eat mayo and mustard by the spoonful. The jury's still out on which one is my most wondrous achievement.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's a bunch of useful skills and a bunch of random skills that I've acquired over the years. Some of them I'm really proud of. In no particular order: Public Speaking Playing Harmonica Making a Fire Sleeping anywhere, at anytime Teaching Workshops (for Youth) Game Design Principles Swimming Cooking, Nutrition and Healthy Eating Dota (and how to be good at video games) The one weird trick that doctors don't want you to know Self Defense Being a great conversation partner Horse Riding Lying your eyes out in a job interview
What I Can Share With Hosts
First of all, I respect the spaces I'm in. I will never intrude or disrespect you or your home. Space is space, I don't pry or snoop, nor do I feel entitled to anything really. I'm otherwise ridiculously flexible. I'm here to meet people and give a hand with whatever they need that I can help with. I'm qualified as a TEFL teacher (currently getting my CELTA qualification) and have taught English, I can cook and I love sharing stories, of which I've gathered a few.
My Interests
If there's one thing that gets my heart racing, it's real people. Sun-seekers, people looking for truth, for their own path, for what their heart longs. I love parkour and have started training a lot more recently, especially to be able to explore abandoned factories, warehouses and the likes. Stalking around Pripyat illegally for a couple of weeks is just the beat holiday (or lifestyle) I can think of. I love music, singing, playing guitar, kaval, harmonica, drums, basically whatever I can get my hands on and the fact that I may not be very good isn't bothering me at all. I carry my harmonica with me everywhere, although I've put more effort into the guitar lately. I love games of all sorts, particularly video and tabletop, both playing and designing. I've taken a couple of courses online on game design and I've played DotA competitively on my local scene. Nowadays I'm playing StarCraft and looking to get into a stricter regiment of training.
