ABOUT ME

My name is Edwin. My best friend, Shawn, and I are going to be traveling to a couple of European countries and would love to meet and crash with some local in the places we make it to. We are both 26 and neither of us has traveled outside the US, so this will be our first time in Europe.

We are starting our journey in Germany near Munich where I have a good long time friend to stay with. Soon after we'll make our way to Berlin, then the UK, and Rome. We may even spend New Years in Prague with my German friend if we're able to stay that long.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing because I over meeting and getting to know new people. I had my first experience in Prague and it was great. I discovered the deliciousness that vegan food can be and had Absinthe the proper way; had no clue I was doing it wrong, ha.

兴趣

Technology is my passion and I commit the most time to it. I'm always reading about new things, particularly from Microsoft, and spending my money on them.

I've also become very much into Anime, but I enjoy watch good TV in general. In addition I like to play video games. Adventure and fighting are my favorite genres. I'm loving SSB on my 3DS.

I don't read books nearly as much as I would like, but I do do quite a lot of reading of news/blogs online. I love movies, especially comedies and Sci-Fi. Though my favorite movie is Stand By Me, a film about friendship and growing up. When it comes to music, I whatever sounds good. I've been moving away from pop music and trying to explore more EDM.

I was one of 20 worldwide Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2015 for a business plan I created and implemented in High School.

Never being outside the US, I have no idea what it's really like to live and grow up anywhere else. I love hearing and learning about the experiences of others and even sharing my own to those interested. I like to get first hand knowledge of things to come up with my own opinions on them. I'm very open-minded and can see things from multiple view points, that often helps other people better understand things.
