Easy going fellow who enjoys meeting people from everywhere. I retired in 2019 after many happy years as a lawyer and have traveled widely since. I enjoy people, and Couchsurfing brings energetic travelers with great stories to tell about themselves and their travels and adventures. I am in Williamsburg, Virginia, a place of great American history, and a very pleasant and scenic college town. Historic Jamestown and Yorktown are just minutes away.

I've been on Couchsurfing since 2010 and have hosted lots of amazing travelers. Their experiences and insights always make for interesting conversation and fun times. I grew up in Virginia, Japan Washington State, and Hawaii and lived off and on for three calendar years in Naples, Florida. I have traveled to 46 States in the U.S. and to Europe on a number of trips, as well as Costa Rica. So, I share with my guests the same sense of adventure and love of different cultures.
