COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent most of 2016-2017 touring the United States, during which time I exclusively couchsurfed or slept in my car. It's been such a treat meeting people all over the country, sharing meals with them, hearing how they see the world, and petting their pets. Sharing a sleeping space with someone is profoundly intimate. I've never had the means to host couchsurfers myself, so I tremendously admire those who do so.

兴趣

I love art in every medium. Music, poetry, prose, theater, film, painting...you get it. I fall irrevocably in love with everything alive, especially pets and plants--and, inevitably, people.

I keep meaning to flesh this section out, yet I never do.

Movies I love lately are Frank, No Country for Old Men, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (SO GOOD?!), It Follows, Goon, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Just Friends.

The Alchemist and the Little Prince are, of course, phenomenal. My two favorite books I keep rereading are "The Art of Asking" by Amanda Palmer and "How To Be A Woman" by Caitlin Moran. Road life affords me lots of time to listen to audiobooks--I've just finished reading most of Neil Gaiman's works, and am moving on to Terry Pratchett.

My music taste changes, as it does. Lately it's James Vincent McMorrow, Joseph, Penny & Sparrow, Jordan McKampa, Sam Cooke, Billy Idol, Temple of the Dog , Imogen Heap, Nirvana, and Kina Grannis.
