ABOUT ME

Always have itchy feet to explore new places. I've lived and worked in a number of countries and have plenty of stories to tell! I live for new experiences and meeting new people. This summer i will be exploring the wonders of New York. Ive always wanted to visit New York but not just for a weekend. I will be there for 3 months catching up with friends and family in Boston and New York that I have never visited. I will be staying with a friend in the Bronx so I do not need a host but rather a friend and guide! Meeting some people in that area would be ideal but of course i want to see all of New York so if you are reading this send a message!

I went back to do a MA in Community and Voluntary Sector last year after traveling for 5 years and I am in the middle of that now. I have always been big into volunteering and did a lot as i traveled. Now I'm developing this interest and passion into something further.

In my 20's I set up and ran a vintage shop and it was a crazy wonderful experience but after five years I was not thoroughly fulfilled by this and needed to satisfy my urge to travel again. But I still love all things vintage and will be hitting up as many thrift stores as I can!

When I'm in New York I want to do all the touristy things but also all the local things! And i love to go out and dance! If you want to hang out give me a message!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed in Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam and I have hosted a lot of travelers to HCMC when I lived there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience of couchsurfing was when i was traveling through Asia. All very positive and valuable experiences to me. Was lucky enough to be hosted by some pretty fabulous people! When I settled in Ho Chi Minh City for a year and a half I wanted to return the favour to the community and hosted people of all nationalities in my humble abode in HCMC when i lived there.
