ABOUT ME

I am a retired museum manager in a historical museum in Amsterdam. More and more I live in Bali in a nice house in Canggu at the beach . I stay part of the year in my nice apartment in the center of Amsterdam to soak up western culture and enjoy my friends and family. So if you like to stay try your luck where I am at that moment.
I travel a lot in Indonesia and beyond. I enjoy all kinds of people and while having the experience of a long life I have kept the capacity to engage in all kind of things with a curious hearth and mind.
I prefer gay male guests but people with different tastes are welcome too.

PHILOSOPHY

We live among miracles which we have to call that way because with our feeble minds we are hardly able to understand them. But still that same feeble mind could be greater than all of the universe which seems to lack one thing which we possess: awareness. Are we as human beings with our mysterious consciousness the awareness of the universe as such or at least of the planet earth? And being so do we have the mission to lead the earth in it evolution? Or is our conscious mind just a random development of the evolution which is more and more harming the evolution of our planet it self? It seems to me only we human beings can ask these dazzling questions.

I had several guests in my house in Bali and in Amsterdam. I enjoyed hosting them and I am looking forward being a guest myself.

Growing up from a small place and closed world, going places globally and expanding mentally through culture I am coming to the end phase on my life. What a journey! Being confronted with the question if our culture is just an aberration which unsettles this planet or is the human mind and culture an integral and meaningful part of the earth leading it to a better future.
I keep studying and looking around. I do not know the answer but hope it is the second possibility and we are only at the beginning of a glorious future.
