Travel more, explore the world
33 years old, have girlfriend, as all, shaped by my environment and experiences, open minded (at least i like to think so), sincerely enjoy meeting others and new cultures, mission in life is to always keep learning, leaving the world a better place and having visited most (if not all) countries. As for a description of my personality read the references below, they say more about me than I could say about myself.
Also interested in Social Media and being able to share photos/videos with friends regardless of where we are in the world. Have setup a project for this, have a look at http://www.wodehub.com and please give me your opinions, it's currently in the 2nd round of testing and aims to be a Social Media alternative.
My philosophies are pragmatic yet somewhat eastern oriented. Buddhism in particular. But it boils down to just being normal and respect each other. That means, do not do to others what you do not want others to do to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting travelers regularly, host people from time to time, surf from time to time, participate and organize events and gatherings, mostly in China and HK. Represent the concept and spread it around. Basically however I can :)
I was introduced to couch-surfing by a friend of mine
and we tried it in Normandy. Had two experiences
there, both were amazingly good (hospitable). A long long time ago, i had a similar experience in Israel, though im not sure the concept of couchsurfing had already materialized. All in all, i find it amazing! Now i'm meeting new people regularly.
Travelling, Learning, Reading, Movies, Philantropy, History, Esoterics, Piano playing, Physics, Cosmology, Philosophy, Teaching. Information technology, Science
Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate most forms of art, most books and most music. My personal preferences are music which is at least somewhat harmonic (that excludes most jazz).. music which is music (that excludes most modern techno music). Pop is fine, some rock is fine... not too much guitar. Personally I play classical music on the piano, or at least have done so in the past. I've no piano at the moment (unfortunately). As for reading, i read a lot, mostly. (if not all) non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to list, the pyramids in Egypt and the Kibbutz in Israel. Iceland is an amazing country, Monaco is nice, Asia is a unique experience. Hiked for 10 km on the Great Wall of China!! Lived in several countries for a long time...But I believe the best is yet to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been told to have strong problem solving abilities, thus strong in pattern recognition and linquistics, can both listen and talk. Like to teach others, have taught English before, like to motivate or teach science as well.
