I’m a Shanghai native, born in the 1980s, with deep family roots here. I grew up during what I consider the most open era of this country, and I like to call myself a little "Old Shanghai".

I’m a solo traveler at heart.. When I explore new countries, I usually explore alone, observing the world quietly while eating by myself. I’m not big on meeting strangers or group outings during my travels. Since my physical strength is limited, I prefer to use my energy to host guests in my home city rather than going out.

I can host for 1-7 days (or even longer, as long as you don't have the flu), I don't get into parties, so please don’t invite me to large gatherings—I prefer a quieter, more personal connection.
