HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well I have a thin spare mattress :) this you can use in the living room; so not a tremendous amount of privacy on offer :( my place is also very small, so I can really only host one person... Sometimes I like to surf also

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

more and more, and tremendously positive

pretty easy-going, but also very considerate

My only real weakness: I like to sleep late

I like to talk, share stories and cook and eat together, or even play some chess or a game.

For couchsurfers looking for a couch: please don't contact me if it is really only about saving money, if I am only a farflung back-up option or if you have a problem with gays, I am who I am and I am not hiding it. Straight people are very welcome though.

I have little time so if I choose to spend it hosting someone there needs to be some kind of a connection, I am interested in you as a person and expect the same

This of course does not mean you have to spend all or even any time with me; I understand you are here to visit Amsterdam and that is fine with me;

We might do something together or not, best is to see spontaneously what happens.

Also just to be clear I do not view CS as a dating service and I am not much of a nightlife person

I have a preference for couchsurfers more or less in my age range, but open minded about exceptions

Some of my guests have become true friends. Thats the miracle of couchsurfing!
