Hi! We are Yana and Alexander, happily married couple from Siberia, The Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.
We are both state employees, but in our hearts we are young, open-minded and sociable travel enthuthiasts. We consider ourselves as a cosmopolite persons, without geographical, political, religious and nationalistic frames.
Except from the main work we have a small business related with organizing kids and family parties.
I am afraid of height and Alex is afraid of nothing (as I prefer to think so:).
I've been travelling a lot with my parents since I was a child and now I want to discover a world with my husband.
We like to eat, drink a good wine, listen to a live music, hang out with our friends, laugh and discover new places and new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love travelling and discover new horizons, love meeting new people and wanting to get to know their culture, traditions, mentality and food.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love different music, I prefer dance or pop music (but I also love Aerosmith and Guns'n'Roses songs and d’n’b of courseee) and Alex are really into rock music.
We love watch movies and TVshows (GoT, Modern Family, Stranger things etc.).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the only passenger in the airliner during internatinal flight. Everybody was surprised including me, aircrew and airport employees))

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been studying in Beijing, China, for 6 years (however years without practice make themselves felt), so if you are willing to, I can teach you some) We are interested in practicing English, Chinese and German and I will be glad to know some of Spanish, French or Japanese basic words and sentences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some Russian dishes, teach you either Russian or Chinese, and Alex are very good at housework, can help you to fix or repair something.
We will bring something from our country as a gift or will buy a bottle of wine with which we can spend evening and talk)
We can afford a hotel, but we really want to have this couchsurfing experience as a surfers too, since we never had it, so we can assure that we won't treat your home as a hotel or a hostel, but the home of our new friend.
If you dont have enough time to hangout with us or very busy for your work, it is ok, to have dinner at home or a night out will be enough;)
