About Me
Hello everybody,
I'm Yasmina and I welcome you to my profile.
I don’t really know where to start....I would describe myself as an open minded person and I like trying out new things. Currently I study industrial engineering and I work on my masters thesis at a company. I moved to Nuremberg September 2022 so I’m quite new here.
I like being outside and I prefer summer than winter, because there are so many possibilities to do especially with friends.
I love food and I’m very interested in trying new different food from other countries.
My passion is baking bread. Usually I use my self made sourdough which I named „Thorsten“, who is kinda my Covid baby as I started using sourdough when there was no yeast available in the supermarkets. So when I host you you may get a chance having self made bread for breakfast.
That should be enough for a first impression of me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a new way of travelling, to make friends and to have a lot of opportunities to learn about the culture and how locals live. I would like to listen to their stories, get to know what they are doing in their free time and maybe join some activities.

Music, Movies, and Books
###Music###
I'm open minded for every kind of music and language.
It always depends on my mood and the situation. For example on road trips I like listening to music from the 80s and 90s. But most of the time I just turn on the radio and take pot luck. Furthermore I love to sing even though I’m a terrible singer. So if you’re planning a karaoke night, don’t hesitate to invite me ;)
###Movies###
I love going to the cinema (not only because of the popcorn)
I like animated movies for children like finding Nemo, zootopia, ratatouille....
I enjoy comedies, dramas and I'm a fan of Marvel movies. But to be honest, my interest sunk after endgame.
But all in all no scary movies please. Otherwise I can't sleep for the next 2 weeks. ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Far and away the best part of my life was my working holiday year in Australia in 2016/2017 after I finished school.
There I’ve done a skydive above the Great Barrier Reef. It was a very very spontaneous decision but that was good because otherwise I couldn’t sleep that night before. Really worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages: I could teach you German (my mother tongue) or a little bit of Vietnamese (my parents are from Vietnam). I'm also willing to learn a few sentences in any language you could teach me.
I'd like to share stories and experiences and also maybe cooking and baking skills :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good chat, experiences, laugher.
I'm also happy to help around the house so I can give something back.
If there’s an opportunity I can cook a meal for us to share.
