About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring.

ABOUT ME

I like discussing different cultures, different people and ways to live, politics, travels, places, adventures, dreams, random memories.

I like to hear personal stories of people, and to get to know how they are and how they experience life and world.

I like to communicate through humor, but everyones humor is different I guess. I enjoy people that are modest, kind, intelligent and curious, but generally all that matters is are our vibes matching, which is usually unpredictable and surprising.

PHILOSOPHY

There is something between birth and death. And I am trying to figure out what is it and what I should do with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It all started in 2010 in Barcelona, it was my first couchsurfing experience that absolutely helped me to discover the new way of traveling and experiencing city, and I was hooked since then. Its a shout out to these people that I cant find on couchsurfing anymore, but left that amazing first impression- Anita and her friend and his flatmates.

Interests

Learning new things, I am a freakin knowledge junkie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into electronics lately, indie, pop, ambient and some weird stuff, also classical rock, indies, folk, some jazz and blues.
Very Special place in my heart has Devendra Banhart and The Eels.

I love reading books. Russian classics, like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy (War and Piece is my favourite piece of art existing), also Proust, Hermann Hesse are my favourits. I find existentialism to be a huge part of my life. So I admire Camus, Sartre, Schopenhauer and I'm still discovering or revisiting other existentialists.

I like watching a lot and all kinds of movies, but I don't take them too seriously. Whatever that supossed to mean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh so this is the place where its okay to brag? Before age of 25 I have lived abroad 4 times in 3 different countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn more about history of different regions and countries, habits and way of living in different parts of world. But I also just love to get to know people and learn how much of the same issues humans are all about: love and death.
