To explore the Arab world and its culture, peoples, and religion and expand my knowledge and understanding of Arabic.

ABOUT ME

A global person with a diverse background who has been to many parts of the world learning from people of all colors and cultures. I always seek to give back to society by sharing what I have learned.

I am deaf and I have a deaf family. Because of this, I am blessed to be able to have several identities enabling me to connect with more kinds of people than I can count.

No matter what the media portrays people who live on the other side of the world, we all are truly not that different. We all want decent, fulfilling lives.

Life is beautiful.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Muslim so I am partial to Islamic philosophy. However, I have utilized such philosophy long before being a part of the Islamic faith. There is so much wisdom and beauty in Islam by those who take the time to study it. Unfortunately it is so deeply misunderstood by many.

I started last year and experienced CouchSurfing greatness in the United States, Spain, Morocco, and Tunisia. I look forward to even more of it!

Cycling in Spain, Morocco, and Tunisia and being on top of the world at 2,700 meters. Being stopped by Tunisian police because I appeared to be a terrorist.
