CURRENT MISSION To do what my heart tells me to do. ABOUT ME This winter 2016-2017, I'm in the early stage of founding an organic vegetables farm with my wife Maike Storks (also on Couchsurfing) in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. I use to work in engineering in Montreal, but I found my work was not fulfilling my goal of doing something meaningful for a better world. In 2012, I took the year off for travelling. I wwoofed on Australian farms and spend 6 months cycling arround the Baltic sea in Europe, learning as much as possible from the school of life. Once again... PHILOSOPHY Think globaly, act localy

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm always happy to share experience of life in foreign lands with my hosts and guests. I can also be your cook as I enjoy cooking delicious and healthy food! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE For me, it is the real way to travel. Instead of mass tourism disconnected from local life, Couchsurfing allows me to share experiences with locals. It's an authentic meeting of different cultures. I get to know more of the area from locals than any travel guide could tell. Using Couchsurfing and similar websites, I found hosts downtown of major cities, where accommodation is outrageously expensive. I also found hosts in remote countryside without any other forms of accommodation available. It was always a fantastic experience!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most the sounds of nature. The songs of birds, the flow of the river, the wind in the leaves of big trees. Of course, listening music while eating with good company is also always great :-) I read a lot, mostly technical books to learn on different topics.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Travelling the world for years.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you something about healthy eating. I'm convinced that it's a key ingredient to a good life.
