My name is Youssef (Cognates=يوسف, Yusuf, Joseph, Josef, José)

I grew up in Les Aurès region in Eastern part of Algeria. It is known for its rocky mountains, harsh conditions especially in winter.

At the present time, I live in Turkey.

I am looking forward to live unforgettable experiences by traveling. I believe that life is too short to miss the opportunity to live it !

The main reason why I am on Couchsurfing is because it is an excellent way to get to know people, make new friends, and enjoy the company!

Movies:

I adore watching Sci-Fi movies. Interstellar is my favorite movie so far. Hans Zimmer's compositions are a masterpiece in this movie.

I like Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg movies.

Inception, Fight Club, Memento, Jurassic World movies, The Dark Knight trilogy, Shutter Island, Inglorious Basterds..

Breaking Bad is my favorite TV show ever seen.

I am that kind of person who listens to all genres of music. I like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and oldies..

However, my favourite band is the local Algerian berber band Tinariwen (Tishoumaren, world, blues, folk, rock).

Life is beautiful!

Many crazy adventures with my brother getting lost in the depth of Les Aurès region in Algeria. I still remember one of these moments where we were penetrating into the unknown of that natural park losing all human telecommunications..
