I'm a Chinese girl now taking master degree in the UK, majoring in translating.
To some extent, I am 'very Chinese', for I really appreciate Chinese culture and know some aspects of my country well such as ancient poems, traditional music... So I'm more than happy to share with anyone who is interested in them.
I' m also curious and passionate, so I traveled around and tried different things such as go diving in Thailand, go paragliding in Nepal, visit the village on the arctic circle (Finland) to appreciate a sky of stunning aurora...
I'm very easy-going and independent and I can be quiet without disturbing anyone if necessary. I also keep things clean and tidy.

Play a traditional Chinese musical instrument--'Zheng', a kind of string instrument with 21 strings and wood body of about 1.5 meters long. You can always hear such music in Kung Fu movies (typically played by a Kung fu master, haha...)

Book: with philosophical thoughts, such as Albert Camus's works; Beauvoir's. Detective novels such as Higashino Keigo's; many Chinese novels of various types.

Movie: all types except for horror film...old films such as 'The legend of 1900', 'Leon', 'the Matrix','Vanilla Sky '; 'Psycho'(its extent of horror is within my acceptance); more recently 'Inception' ...

Backpacked to Tibet in the second summer vacation of my undergraduate study. Visited Lhasa, Lake Namtso, Shigatse, and traveled down to Nepal to work as an international volunteer, where I taught at a local school and traveled around.
