Jan 2026 update: I am taking a break from hosting people for the month to do some reflection and have a break from socializing.

I’m born and raised in the city of Melaka, Malaysia. Growing up inside a city with very little exposure and relationship to nature when I was a kid, I hope to be as close to nature as I can for the rest of my life and live in harmony with nature.

Travelled mainly to South east and South Asia: Myanmar, Kathmandu, Nepal, Thailand, India. Did a year of working holiday in NZ, which was one of the best thing I did for myself, to celebrate turning 30.

I’m happiest when I’m outdoor in the forest/jungle, walking along a river valley or hiking up a mountain. NZ was almost the perfect place to live in, except it was spiritually quite empty and culturally not vibrant enough.

I backpacked twice in India: 2016 & 2024. I imagine myself going back to India over and over again through my life. There’s something about India that draws me in, I can’t quite explain it still.

I learn and practice yoga, am still trying to develop a yogic lifestyle and routine. Yoga is not about being in perfect postures but stilling of the mind and recognizing the awareness within.

I am a FARMER wanna be. Learning permaculture and syntropic agroforestry and hope to die a farmer. “She grew things” will be one of the things they say about me in my funeral.

I’m on CS because I’ve met and been hosted by wonderful, generous, interesting and intriguing characters. I’d love to meet like minded people and hear about your stories while I can’t continue to travel at the moment.
