CURRENT MISSION
Promote cultural diversity and positive energy by showing loves around the world :)
ABOUT ME
Once a good friend of mine described me as A BIRD WITHOUT LEGS.
I am an adventurist who can never settle down at one place. I feel uncomfortable when it gets too comfortable. I was born in a big city called Hong Kong and have lived there for 15 years but I never really feel that's where I belong to.... My home is the wild nature; my heart can only be at ease when I get back there....
Knowledge, Experience and Freedom are what drive me to travel. I love trying new things, and meeting new people...
PHILOSOPHY
I believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes you, let it.
Interests
Travelling of course;
Nature (I can spend the whole day lying on the grass/ breathing sunshine on a beach/ feeling the breeze on a hammock.... some people find it boring, but I find people who can't live without their smartphone more boring....)
- traveling
- hiking
- philosophy
- counselling
- daydreaming
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't mind any kind of music except hard rock. My all time favourite is "Don't Cry for me Argentina" - the lyric speaks my mind!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
MY FIRST EVER JAIL EXPERIENCE:
One day when I was in Kenya, I took a bus to town while there was no seat left on that bus, so same as many other passengers I got on the bus and stand in there. After a few minutes journey, a police officer suddenly got on the bus and shout at us in swahili (I have no clue what that is about). Then the bus went straight to the police station, and everyone who were standing on the bus (7 of us) got arrested. That's when I realised it's actually illegal to stand on a bus in Kenya (but I saw people doing that all the time).
So I argued with the police officer, "How could you expect foreigners to know that it is illegal while there is nothing on the bus/ on the street mentioning about this law?"
and his response is, "You should have studied all our laws before you visited our country"
"Well then I would become an expert of international law if I did :P "
So at the end they put me in jail until my friend came and bailed me out. I was there for a couple of hours in the smelling-like-urine cell with 20 other men + 1 underage girl who was prostituting.
Well you may think that was an awful experience I had but I actually found it quite interesting and I even managed to make a few friends in the cell :P
By the way, this is my attitude towards travelling (or life in general). The nature of an event is neither positive/ negative. What makes it positive/ negative is our perception and our response to the event.
