Overview
About Me
I graduated in May of 2015, and now I am seeking adventure and experience! I was born and raised in a small agricultural town in central Florida (USA), so I deeply appreciate slower and simple living, but I've got an incurable wanderlust right now that is taking me to and fro. I recently returned from filming a documentary in El Salvador; I love seeking out human stories and getting a glimpse into histories that are unique and beautiful.
My brother and I also have started our own video production company that specializes in promotional videos for nonprofits. We are called Namesake Creative.
Check us out at NamesakeCreative.com
To fill in the gaps, I also substitute teach math and physics at my home town high school, and I do background acting in Los Angeles (Look! See that brown tall blur for 2 seconds in the crowd over there?! That's me!!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A place is as much (if not more) the people that inhabit it as it is the buildings, land, and culture. Thus, to really know a place, you must also know its people! Amazingly, Couchsurfing affords such a chance. So I want to Couchsurf to meet the people that belong to a place and hear what they have to say about the world and where they live. Additionally, locals always know the best spots around town to find fun and adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: classic jazz (Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Coltrane, Chet Baker, the usual crowd), Coldplay, Cassino, He Is Legend, Switchfoot.
My brother and I make short Sci-Fi films, so our film heritage is predictably steeped with nerdiness: Star Trek Original Series, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Interstellar, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Though I am making a conscience effort to expand the genres I read, I still end up reading mostly biographies, sci-fi/fantasy, westerns and history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduated from college! And some pretty intense things in El Salvador... ask me about those in person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
