ABOUT ME

I've lived all over the united states -- growing up in Los Angeles, studying in Connecticut and New York, hosting a radio program and playing jazz clarinet in New Orleans. I produced political podcasts in Washington D.C. for a few years then moved back to L.A. during the pandemic.

Currently traveling Asia: Been to Japan, now in Vietnam.

When I lived in New Orleans (2009-2014) I hosted many people who came through town. I had a great time meeting people from all over the world (Belgium, France, Israel)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May of 2014 I climbed the "haiku stairs" in Oahu, Hawaii (also known as the "stairway to heaven"). I've posted some pictures from this hike! It was strenuous and a little bit scary but exhilarating and beautiful. The stairs (technically off-limits to hikers) take you vertically up the hillside and give you an amazing view of eastern Oahu.
