ABOUT ME
Hmm... I would say I am a little shy, but not painfully so. I love the randomness of life and what it brings and I fully welcome and embrace change. I believe in the true goodness of people, and I manifest daily the life that I desire. I am a bit of a wallflower/earth-child in my approach to life, but I shower regularly haha! I try to take each experience with an open heart to learn and to grow, and I love openly! I live today for the world I wish for tomorrow.
PHILOSOPHY
If it's not fun, don't do it.... AND, try to make everything fun!
I try to be the change I want to see in the world... (advice taken from someone who had it figured).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet great people, share experiences and contribute to a community of travellers who want to experience the world through community!
Interests
I like being involved in most team activities, I love Volleyball and play in a couple leagues recreationally. Alternately, I also love the arts and try my hand at many of them: paint, photography, written word, poetry, scrapbooking and such. Self discovery is probably #1 on my list, i love to people watch and I enjoy being an observer of things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Celestine Prophesy Series - James Redfield, Way of the Peacefull Warrior - Dan Millman, Power of Now - Ekhart Tolle, The Alchemist- Paulo Coelho, The Prophet -Khalil Gibran
I like a combination of different music genres- old rock, cheesy slow jams and lots of easy going tunes like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled to London during the volcanic eruptions in Iceland. I arrived on the first plan allowed to make the trip and land in London -- it was a very crazy travel experience... including the remainder of shenanigans that ensued. Seven cities and four states in 12 days!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love Mexico, my mother is a Mexican Native and I've got a strong love for the Country. The pyramids of Teotihuacan were quite amazing, and San Miguel de Ayende in September (for the fireworks) - well, actually Mexico altogether in September is great.
Vancouver - Celebration of Light. Amazing fireworks show... I think it is a beautiful thing for so many people to gather peacefully to appreciate something wonderous and beautiful together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
