About Me
ABOUT ME
I was once, bitten by a travel bug, and I will be joyfully infected forever...
I come from the land of diversity, spirituality, colours, tasty spices and the land of more than a hundred different languages, India! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been born in a place that is rich in life, diversity, spirituality, and natural beauty, with the Himalayas to the north, the Thar Desert to the west, the Indian Ocean to the south, and the Bay of Bengal to the east. I gained a lot of perspectives from being born there, and I would say that the country's diversity taught me life lessons. I was able to think and view life differently as a result of this.
I moved from India to Kaiserslautern, a small city in the southwest of Germany, in October 2021 to pursue a master's degree in computer science. Since then, I've been on a never-ending quest to discover Europe's most magnificent places.
🎵 Recently, I've developed a hobby of practising the flute and harmonica.
🧘🏻♂️ Also, I started practising Yoga and Meditation.
🏞 I like to spend time in the woods.
🍝 Another one of my interests is cooking. I can make delicious Indian food.
📖 Also recently I've developed a hobby of reading.
🏕 I enjoy trekking, hiking, camping, and backpacking.
☕ I have a crazy spiced tea addiction.
CURRENT MISSION
🌎 Explore Europe
PHILOSOPHY
"Live as if there isn't going to be another day!"
"Live life to the fullest!"
"Live the life you've always wanted!"
"To travel is to live!"
It is not like: "You only live once". It is like: "You die only once, but you live every day! So make every day count!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"THE MORE DIFFERENT YOU ARE, THE MORE I WILL LEARN FROM YOU... THE MORE I LEARN FROM YOU, THE MORE I WILL LOVE YOU"
Meeting new people, eating local foods, wandering through streets, exploring local places, discussing the place, diving into the culture, and making new connections are all part of the fun of travelling.
As a result, Couchsurfing is an excellent way to meet new people and build new connections. I enjoy meeting new people and travelling as much locally as possible.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to guide my guests around the city where I live. Also, I would like that Surfers can learn from my culture, and way of life and from socializing. I also like to cook with them and engage in deep conversations with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since I joined CouchSurfing in July 2020, I've welcomed a few travellers from different continents. And I had no regrets about any of my experiences.
As one of my friends says: "Couchsurfing is like the magical world of Hogwarts: You get to meet like-minded people who have the magical gift of being kind to one another!"
Couchsurfing was, is and will be the best thing that has ever happened to me! From Meeting amazing people to spending time with them, from cooking traditional food to strolling in the streets like a local, to learning about their lives to sharing amazing travel stories, Couchsurfing has always been a great experience!
Interests
I love to explore different places with locals and trying out the traditional food. I like to travel slowly and experience the best of the place. 🌏
I am also studying Computer Science so I can also descend into the nerd topics. 🤓
