About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world, or as much of it as I can
ABOUT ME
I am originally from Detroit, but for the 3 years I have been teaching English in a small town outside the city of Sendai, Japan (yes that Sendai). There certainly is never a dull moment in Tohoku. Despite the epic natural disasters, I have really enjoyed living and working in Japan; so much so that I have re-contracted for another year!
I always find it hard to condense who I am into a short paragraph so if there is anything you would like to know that isn't contained in any other section of my fantastic profile, please feel free to inquire! I also would like to note that I recently married the love of my life and we will be moving to London next August to start our lives (she is going into property and I am doing my Law course). Anything else just ask!ã
PHILOSOPHY
I am not sure if I have a static personal philosophy. I am constantly learning new things that continue to shape and change the way I think about the world. To quote the late, great philosopher Bruce Lee--yes he was a philosopher of sorts-- "be like water." I think you have to be constantly open to reevaluate things that at one time seemed self evident.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed once. My girlfriend (wife now lol) and I stayed with someone in a small town in Korea. At first I was a little hesitant, but the guy was really cool and helpful. It was a great experience! I hope to have many more adventures couchsurfing.
