Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and get to know people with similar interests. I believe that to know the city or the country can only be met and spent the evening talking to the people who live in it

Interests

I actively participate in the work of public environmental organizations, organize events, promotions, meetings on environmentally friendly lifestyle, is implementing a project to improve the initiative sozadnii residents in a supportive environment.
I'm also interested in reportage, landscape photography, photographing a variety of activities in the city of Brest.
I love listening to music of different styles (rock, electro, rap). Listening to music bands of Belarus, and I'm interested to open new groups in countries that I visit.
I am fond of reading fiction, as the classic and modern. Favorite genres - dystopia, science fiction, gonzo journalism. Also interesting local authors in the countries visited by me.
Also I love the cinema, especially English, interested in the history and news of world cinema.
I like to ride a bike, play table tennis.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music mostly rock and alternative. Especially like the band Lapis Troubetzkoy, Brutto, Acute, Kino, Korol i shut, Okean Elsy, Lumen, Stigmata, Amatory, Rammstein, Joy Division, Radiohead, Moby.
Movies - different, but especially - science fiction (favorite films - Alien, Abyss, Lock, stock and two smoking barrels, Event Horizont, Bad Santa), thrillers David Fincher and David Lynch, the films of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino. Favorite actors and actress: Tilda Swinton, Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde, Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale.
Books - too different, classic, contemporary, esoterica. My favorite writers is Lovecraft, Poe, Mikhail Bulgakov, Kuprin, Karatkevich Bykov, Stephen King, Irvine Welsh, Cormac McCarthy and many others.
Recent impressed me the book "One Hundred Years of Solitude" Marquez; "Martian" Weier; "Submarine" Bengtson; "The house, in which" Petrosyan; "World War Z" Brooks, "Slaughterhouse-Five, or The Children's Crusade" Vonnengut

I'll tell you about the ancient and modern history of Belarus. I will share great music from Belarus. We can play table tennis, board games. I try to cook the Belarusian potato dish.
