Welcome to Haining, Zhejiang—a quiet yet charming city nestled between Shanghai and Hangzhou, with convenient public transportation to both. If you’re interested in exploring nearby water towns like Wuzhen, Xitang, or Yanguan, or if you’d love to experience an authentic, less touristy Chinese city, I’d be happy to host you and show you around.
Haining is the hometown of Jin Yong (Louis Cha Leung-yung), the legendary Wuxia (Martial Arts) novelist, and Xu Zhimo, the celebrated modern romantic poet. If you’re lucky, you might even witness the breathtaking Qiantang River Tidal Bore, one of the largest in the world.
About me—I spent over 10 years as an international sales manager in the textile industry and now work as an independent textile business consultant/agent. Traveling has been a big part of my life, both for work and personal adventures. I’d love to exchange stories, insights about the textile business, and traveling experiences.
