Hello, I’m Zuhal, currently living in Vancouver, originally from Ankara.
I work in the legal field — which can be a bit boring sometimes — but my life has always been deeply connected to art, culture, and people.

I love music, theatre, cycling, nature, good food, and traveling. My bicycle is still one of my best companions, and I enjoy discovering cities slowly and mindfully.

I enjoy meeting travelers, sharing stories, ideas, and experiences. Being someone who has lived between cultures, I am deeply interested in what connects us all beyond borders and languages.

I believe that small journeys help us see the world — and ourselves — more clearly, through new eyes and new perspectives.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love hosting travelers or simply meeting friends from abroad for a drink and good conversation.
At the same time, When you travel abroad, you can always stay hotels, airbnb, etc. as well. But for me, real travel is not only about comfort — it is about getting to know the soul of a city through local friendships' company.

This is first give it a go to Couchsurfing before I look for a hotel or an airbnb. I truly believe that meeting locals, sharing stories, and spending time together makes every journey much more meaningful.

I love watching movies. So far, Noviembre is my favorite movie. I really enjoy films that make you think and feel deeply, especially stories about art, freedom, and human emotions.

I love discovering all kinds of music and finding sounds that speak to my soul.
I mostly enjoy old school music, but I am always open to exploring new styles.
