Hi, I’m Zulfiia, an architect passionate about creating spaces that tell stories. I love exploring cities through their architecture, hidden alleys, and local culture. Traveling for me is about experiencing places authentically—finding unique spots, connecting with people, and understanding the narratives behind spaces.

I also love nature and can spend hours just watching the waves, listening to the wind, or observing trees. There’s something magical about being in the moment, fully immersed in the world around us.

I enjoy meeting people from around the world—those with unique perspectives, backgrounds, and ways of thinking. I find inspiration in contrasts and unexpected connections. My interests go beyond architecture—I’m fascinated by technology, theatre, music, physics, and anything that makes me see the world from a new angle.

I appreciate deep conversations, wandering without a map, and discovering details that others might overlook. If we meet, I’d love to exchange stories, share thoughts on our passions, or just grab a coffee and talk about life.

I've spend a year in the US as an exchange student and as my American friends told me I've seen more places there then they are, travelled across my own country, visited some places in Europe and Balkans and lloking forward to new adventures to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In love with exploring world through connection with people. I believe, Couchsurfing is one the best communities to do this. I already made so much incredible memories during the time I'm here. I met so many amazing people! I saw so different living from my own and shared so much about myself and my culture. People become a giant part of my impressions from the places I've been.
I'm looking forward to meet you!

Here is what I wrote back in 2019 after experiencing travels through Couchsurfing, That's still one of my favorite texts and memories.

"I’ve danced somewhere in a desert with a random German and the most “american” American you can ever meet. I‘ve run 44 floors up to climb to the top of skyscraper on Times Square. I have sailed under the rain watching the view of the night Seattle. I’ve been singing hymn of my youth.

I’ve been observing polar lives. From a someone, who took route Canada-Hawaii on a boat, to a someone, who is studying in Stanford or having highest positions in American military. I met awesome souls and heard extremely interesting stories. I’ve been testing my brave. I’ve gone through million lessons. For only reason- to understand who I am and what are my true values. To come to them again.
I’ve been constantly growing and all people I met have been my teachers. Great teachers of life."
