I'll be visiting Basel the weekend of the 14-16 or 21-23 of Nov and wanted to know what should I do? What are some good pubs and nightclubs?

I want to do a "Bar-Tour" with friends in Kleinbasel, for I think that there are so many hidden places to discover. Which bars/pubs/restaurants etc. are your favourite places you would recommend in Kleinbasel, and why?

Es sollten zwar keine "hidden places" sein, ich zähle trotzdem mal auf
Viel Spass auf euerer Bar Tour

Cafebar Salon is a hidden gem. And Carambolage too.
Also don't miss Brauerei Fischerstube with local Ueli Bier :) Enjoy!

What is the best/most fun/most local/ place to have or share a drink?
Plain and simple, haha!
For drinks try Rhinegasse and kaserne in klein basel. Paddies or Bar rouge (at 30th floor) can be nice for clubbing later in the night.

Try "zum goldenen fass", there is a nice room upstairs with free concerts from time to time. Otherwise walk down Feldbergstrasse, there's something for everyone in that street.

Hey there everybody,
As far as I know there are tons of local farmer markets in Basel, although I´m not entirely which one is the cheapest one? Can I get any recommendations from your shopping experiences?
I only eat fruits and vegetables, so believe me it´s really useful information. I tried Google and didn´t find good tips.
Thanks in advance!

Its better in deutschland ;)
In weil am rhein have one Alnatura.
You can get all that you wanted.. (i think..) some things its cheap, another things always its expensive.
If not, have some movements in zurich, I know one, Bio für Jeden.
Hacen algunos encuentros de vez en cuando, los puedes encontrar en facebook, creo que tambien tienen website ahora.
I can say you something when they do it,

local vegetables and fruits CANNOT be cheap!
the farmers need to survive too.
so theres one at marktplatz, also there are some in the villages around,
or you can go directly to the farmers , they have small stores too.

I can recommend the farmer market in Loerrach. It's every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It starts early in the morning until 13:00. My girlfriend is going there once or twice a week.
It's easy to go there, you can take train S6 from Basel (Badischer Bahnhof or SBB). Within 15 to 20 min you will reach Loerrach Haupbahnhof. From there its 5min to walk.
Let me know if you are interested and we can meet and show you around.
