Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Build a house that recycles its own waste, grows its own food, produces its own energy.
ABOUT ME
I'm easy going and happily adventure-prone. I'm currently running an organic t-shirt business here in Portland. I've been luckier in my life than I believe there is any rational explanation for, and I've recently realized that my life's work will be to pay that debt of gratitude forward.
PHILOSOPHY
There's just so much I haven't seen. I guess my philosophy is that I need to see a lot more before I can start making a philosophy, and I have a feeling it will never be enough. I'm just going to have fun and mind my environmental impact, and hopefully meet some cool people along the way.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spread the word to people who I can tell will benefit from and respect our community, and I host when I can. I lived in a vegetable oil-powered RV all last summer, so hosting wasn't an option. I'm excited to be on the hosting side now that I've planted myself in Portland for a while.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
More and more. I Couchsurfed for the first time in Guatemala, and it literally changed the way I look at the world. After that, I hitchhiked and couchsurfed with a unicycle to New Mexico and Telluride, and I made a very short documentary as my senior thesis film project. It didn't turn out very well, but I did at least successfully convince my thesis adviser that letting me take 2 weeks off of school to couchsurf with a video camera across 8 states was a serious academic endeavor. Of that much I'm proud.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Ran naked into -1 degree water in the flooded caldera of an active volcano off the coast of Antarctica.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
"Wanderer- there is no path.
The path is made by walking."
I'm really into learning languages, so practicing speaking another language is always fun. I can fix your bike, or teach you how to fix your bike. I know how to juggle and unicycle, and I love getting people started, because if I can do it, you can do it (and I have unicycle and juggling balls for you to try) Ummm. Oh, I can also teach you to screen print.
I'm currently working on building a solar thermal powered refrigerator. I love DIY solar projects.
I enjoy giving books to people who will appreciate them almost more than I enjoy reading them myself, so if you have any books with you...
