Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's the best way to know what's really going on in any place. It's okay to go somewhere and visit touristic spots, but doing so doesn't give me the impression I really got to know the place I am visiting. I like getting myself lost in the streets of the cities and going to the spots that the locals recommend.

I’d rather stay chatting in a cozy place getting to know someone’s history than in any fancy place.
