Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Currently I'm backpacking through Europe, so I don't have a residence and fixed adress to host! But we can meet up somewhere in Europe :) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I think the couchsurfer community in general shows me that we can trust each other and don't have to live always with fear. There are a lot of good people out there, no matter what the mass media says :) I've hosted one guy back when I had an apartment in Brazil, hehe, and surfed 2 times in France!
Music, Movies, and Books
I like classic rock in general, but also like blues, jazz, folk, reaggae, and all things in between. And i'm always open to get to know new artists and new genres. I love a lot a movies, but here are a few of my favorite directors: Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, Alfred Hitchcock, Richard Linklater, Wes Anderson, Lars Von Trier... And books, that's another hard thing to sum up... to name a few authors: Eduardo Galeano, Mia Couto, Jack London, Gabriel García Marquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, buddhist literature, books about travel and personal journeys in general...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Visited Machu Picchu, and hiked to the top of the Wayna Picchu mountain, that was quite amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some simple songs, rhythms from latin america, in the guitar; I can give some of my cake recipies and some cooking tips; share my knowledge about the brazilian history and culture; teach some basic portuguese, among other things!
My Interests
I love to travel, get to know other cultures and different people, love cinema and literature, music, photography, to relax with a good beer or wine, all kinds of animals, hiking, camping, and just getting in touch with nature in general! I'm also interested in buddhism, yoga, and cooking (especially cakes and pies, and vegetarian meals!). Oh, and also i'm learning to play the guitar and loving it.
