Hi everyone,

I am 24 and a rare user of couch surfing. I always wanted to host but have only been living in dormitories until now. I often find myself traveling solo and think couchsurfing is a great way to explore the city in an authentic style.
A question I often get is where am I from. To clarify I was born in Germany and raised in a town called Nuremberg, famous for its sausages and medieval old town. But my parents are both from Vietnam which is why I look Asian.

Nowadays it is so easy to meet people all around the world but most of the time it is such a short encounter. Couchsurfing is a platform to immerse for a few days into the culture of another country without any biases. I am always up for new adventures and can't wait to meet you! (If you read my profile until here already haha)
I created this account a long time ago but never had the opportunity to actually try it out since I usually travelled with family or a group of friends. I want to use Couchsurfing for when I travel alone as it is easier to know locals better one on one and I would be more committed to this experience.
On the downside I don't have any references yet so you can just look me up on Facebook or stalk me on Insta under @kwichingu to make sure I'm not a creep haha

Indulging into local cuisine or cooking together with friends. I just love street food btw especially in Asia.
Sometimes enjoying what nightlife has to offer or just snuggling in bed to a good movie.
And of course traveling and listening to stories of others.

My favorite movie directors are Guillermo del Toro and Makoto Shinkai. Love the atmosphere in those movies.
I enjoy horror movies with friends, but most of the time comedies, good animations and I have to admit I am a Marvel fan.

In my bookshelf you mostly can find literature for university, but I do have books. Mainly fantasy or social dramas. One of my favorite books is still a classic: Peter Pan

I can teach you how to draw which mainly takes patience. I would love to learn an instrument and just admire people who commit themselves to learning it.
