Hey there! I'm Hui Ying.

It's been some time since I joined CS when I was on an exchange programme in Sweden but it was only recently that I had decided to update this profile of mine!

I enjoy meeting new people, and of course traveling. Having the opportunity to take a sneak peak into people's lives of different culture and background never fails to draw me into.

I'm definitely a foodie and you might have already know that Singapore is Home to a multi-racial culture and a wide spectrum of amazing food dishes which I never get bored of.

Singapore might be a commercialized city but there are still places where you could still draw near to nature and local historic sites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make new friends and of course to share about my hometown :)
Even though I am unable to host, I'm definitely more than willing to meet up and show you around!

I think that couchsurfing is also a perfect avenue to get to know a country in a local's perspective and to visit places that are off the beaten tracks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done volunteer work in Malang,Indonesia. In Malang, I had fun refurbishing the school's library and conducting English lessons for the kids in school!

I went on an student exchange programme to Uppsala, Sweden back in 2013. It was definitely one of those life-changing experience being able to step out of my comfort zone to see the world anddddd my favourite activity was caving in Budapest!
