I have a bachelors degree in Animation and Digital Arts and graduated a couple of years ago. Earlier this year I worked as a gallery assistant and now I work in advertising and do some freelance illustration, motion graphics and photography. I like to think I am fun and talkative and also a bit ~quirky~. Never want to stop learning and meeting new people and places!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
In 2014 I studied abroad in Madrid and had one of the best experiences of my life. I traveled by myself, with other erasmus students and with people I met on the internet. One of the girls I met through an international Facebook group introduced me to Couchsurfing, so we traveled all around Europe and were hosted by great people. We once stayed with a Belgian family and it was so shocking to see how similar their family dynamic was to mine (Mexican) and it made me realize how it IS a small world after all : ) also made me want to repeat this experience forever! As cliche as it may sound I love meeting new people and I love making new friends from all over the world. Some of my best friends I have met online and I just love the overall experience.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to sweet things like The Smiths, Fiona Apple, Belle & Sebastian, Jens Lekman, The bird and the bee, Sufjan Stevens etc. My favorite film director is Jean-Luc Godard and I love french films and french new wave in general. I also like japanese animation and films by Xavier Dolan and Wes Anderson. Though I do have a sweet spot for ensemble romantic movies like Love Actually (my all time favorite) I love Banana Yoshimoto because her books are a bit sad but also short and sweet. My favorite book of all time is The Catcher in the Rye because I will never stop being an angsty teenager on the inside. I also love everything by Alain de Botton and I think he is one of the greatest contemporary 'philosophers'.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Definitely traveling by myself! I learned so much and felt like an actual grownup! Also I worked at the Walt Disney World parks as part of the Entertainment cast (ask me about it and I will never shut up)
What I Can Share With Hosts
IMPORTANT - Right now I am living with my parents so I probably won't be able to host you. But I would love to meet you and show you around my city which has a lot to offer!
My Interests
I love everything art and culture! I love visiting museums and galleries and I try to do it at least once a week. I also love children and am a complete Disney nerd.
