My name is Ausrine ( aus reeh neh ) or just simply Oz.
I discovered couchsurfing when I was traveling in Canada and have had a lot of great experiences and met many interesting people through this community.
One day I will become a host myself but currently I'm living a nomadic lifestyle and don't really have a place I call home.
I don't believe in what we in Sweden call the "ekorrhjulet" the squirrel wheel or the hamster wheel when life is just a loop and you eventually get nowhere.
I wish more people could feel less stress and just try live more in the moment. Money is great it gives you security in life and can take you places. But stuff that cost money = time = you being stressed = weird equation.

What's on my mind now?

- Red dead redemption 2 ( OK it belongs to the category stuff but.. It's a small price for a virtual world of my dreams and is not a thing I put on the shelf )

- Sweden is cold ( my first winter since 14/15

My biggest interest in life is to live the life to the fullest . That includes traveling, meeting new interesting people and learning on the way.
I discovered a passion for agriculture while traveling and would like to work in this area in some way one day. I believe in a minimalistic lifestyle to live a rich life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- I've been working as a cowgirl on 3 stations ( ranches) in 3 states of Australia. Some nights I was camped out and slept in a swag ( Australian bedroll ) under the stars. The outback nightsky is amazing.

- Was calling Milford sound in New Zealand home for 7 months where I worked on a boat. That year I was there Milford received 10!!!!m of rainfall. Got to know some local fishermen there and had a dream come true to come out with them a few times and see the rugged coastline of west south island of nz.

- solo roadtrip around Utah and norther Arizona, so far my favorite places I've visited on earth. Horse riding in monument valley was incredible.

- spent almost a year in a remote little outback town called Boulia in west Queensland, Australia. There I won 500$ cash in a camel tagging competition 😂

- have spent many hours as a passenger in a R22 helicopter. First trip ever lasted for over 6 hours going from northern territory to Queensland in Australia.
