About Me

Hey! My name is Daniel. I’m originally from Mexico but currently split my time between Mexico and New York. I've been lucky enough to travel a lot so far, I've explored 60 countries! Traveling is a huge part of my life. I love learning about new cultures, trying local foods, and having real, meaningful conversations with people. For me, the best part of traveling is connecting with locals and experiencing a place through their eyes.

I’d say I’m easygoing, friendly, clean, and respectful. I always try to adapt to the people around me I’m super flexible and chill. I’ve made friends from all over the world, and I truly value and respect different backgrounds and cultures. I enjoy genuine connections, sharing stories, and sometimes just hanging out and enjoying the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I try to live more like a local than a tourist. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that, and I really appreciate the generosity and openness of this community. I love to share stories, meet new people and experience the culture of the country I am visiting also I am traveling on a budget and that’s why I am using couchsurfing for the first time and I am excited to meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I explored one of the biggest caves in the world in Vietnam. Trekking deep into the cave system, surrounded by underground rivers, ancient rock formations, i spend the night inside the cave, was one of the most surreal and humbling experiences of my life. It felt like stepping into another planet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If we meet, I can cook a simple Mexican meal, mix up a proper cocktail or mocktail, or help you practice your Spanish or English. I’d also be happy to share travel stories or help with travel planning if you’re ever heading to the U.S. or Latin America. I am really good in different skills that I am happy to share with you. Mexico city or New York, once I am back I am happy to host you as well! :)
