About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Moving to the UK in February on a two year visa there... and also to visit 40 counties before I turn 40.

ABOUT ME:
I'm pretty easy going and I love getting on with somebody with a good sense of humour. I’ll admit I’m cheeky with my close mates though I’m also mostly a pretty quiet person too. Absolutely determined to learn different languages and I have a deeply curious love for Scotland and Ireland (hell yes to standing stones and megaliths visits!).

First timer on Couchsurfing and despite the stories here or there, I think its the best and most badass way to meet beautiful people and to grow a bigger heart.
I can't go past simple, and sometimes bold, little pleasures like hiking, camping, nude beaches, working out in the park or having a good beer in a pub with mates.

If you have stories on folk pagan legends, love seeing different places and making way for others but also stepping out of “normal life” expectations, I'm sure we will definitely get along.

*I dont care to judge a person on the colour of the skin, height, weight or class. If you give me a open smile from the heart, I will give you the best of mine*

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my early teens and twenties I've hosted a lot of people and friends from my homes when I lived in Brisbane and Cairns, Australia and I've had such great experiences! Now I've quit the suit and tie, 9-5 day job and making my way to fulfilling a dream in travelling and visit the places I've longed to see since I first picked up the World Map.

I want to hear of your own travels and local folk legends and see the very places that spike your curiosity too. I've got my camera ready and have so many ideas for more books I’m intrigued to write about as I'm travelling (I blame Indiana Jones).

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Music depends on my mood, surroundings and people. Top 10 > Christine and the Queens, Pierre Lapointe, Clara Luciani, Bon Iver, RY X, George Ogilvie, The Killers, Billie Eilish, Drake, The Weeknd.

MOVIES: Again, depending on the mood or company, but Top 6 are > Almost Famous, Moulin Rouge, The Ritual, Interstellar, Hereditary and Doctor Sleep.

TV: Current favourites > Merlí, The House On Haunted Hill, The Magicians, Schitts Creek, Fleabag, Altered Carbon, American Gods and Jack Ryan.

BOOKS: Current favourites > The Martian by Andy Weir, Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman and Supernatural by Graham Hancock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing might be pushing it, but I've once climbed one of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, fell down the cliff and survived. Beautiful morning views afterwards though. Hanging out at breakfast side-by-side with elk and deer made up for everything that previous night.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fun fact: I’ve read tarot cards since I was a kid and can happily teach a few intuitive spreads if you fancy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Straight off the bat I can definitely say you’ve got yourself a partner in hiking and/or urban walks, rock climbing and I think I've got some cool dance moves to share after a glass or two of scotch! Also: weird Aussie lingo and cameraman.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Brunei Darussalam, France, Philippines, United Kingdom, United States
