Hello! My name is Charlie and I'm from the United States. I'm now living in Barcelona and I love it. I work as an English teacher.

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, USA. I went to Mexico a lot as kid and obtained a love for different cultures and traveling.

I've traveled to London, Berlin, Munich, Montreal and around the US and Mexico. I've also been to Dubai and India.

I love to travel, swim, go to the beach, camping, seeing new places and meeting new people.

I'm big into trying new things (esp. food) and going out and exploring. I like some geek stuff, scifi (ST, SW), horror films and comic books.

I also really enjoy the beach. It's probably the number 1 reason I moved to Barcelona. I enjoy skinny dipping and have been a naturist for a few years. I really enjoy the freedom of nature.

My overarching interest in life is meeting people from all walks of life and forming real friendships and relationships with good people. Making memories is much more important to me than owning things. Having new and exciting experiences is the way to truly be alive.

Rode an elephant whilst in India. Thought I was going to fall off and it felt surreal the entire time but it was a lot of fun.

Although I felt bad for the elephant as I think it probably wanted another life.

I love learning about other cultures and people from those cultures. Going into another country and living in a system of order that's completely different from home is an amazing experience.

I believe we are composed as individuals of all the experiences and interactions we have with others. By interacting with each other we become more diverse as people.

I can fix your computer/internet problems, set up any electronic devices, hook up any media systems. Know how to cook a number of things, including chicken curry, spaghetti and sweet and sour chicken. Can teach some Spanish.

Some good humor/banter and friendly personality.
