ABOUT ME

I'm doing a PhD in Biolinguistics right now, traveling around Europe from conferences to seminars :) I hope to meet nice people on the road.

I've traveled a lot, I've lived in Argentina (my home), Brazil, Portugal, Spain and UK, but also I've visited Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Nederland, Belgium, France and Italy (right now in Italy summer 25). I have plenty beautiful stories to tell you. Also, I'm musician and sometimes I do busking (I usually travel whit my ukelele).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have one in Spanish language: Curitiba, Brasil, Junio 2014. Estoy pintando caras con banderitas de Nigeria y de Irán a dos cuadras del Arena Stadium. Día de partido. Se acerca un periodista iraní con expresión curiosa y me pregunta si quiero comprar una entrada. Por supuesto, no tengo la plata como para pagarla. A pesar de mi negativa, el iraní se queda parado al lado de mí. Un instante después se me acerca y me ofrece, muy nervioso, un negocio: que le ayude a re-vender la entrada sobrante y quedarme con el 50% del valor del ticket, es decir, 50 dólares. Es un buen negocio. Intento vender, con disimulo porque hay mucha policía cerca, la entrada. El iraní intenta lo mismo. En algún momento vuelvo a ver el ticket. Titula: Nigeria - Irán World Cup 2014. ¿Quién demonios va a gastar 100 dólares en una entrada para ver Nigeria - Irán? Le dije esto al iraní. El hombre al cabo de unos minutos entendió a qué me refería y, luego de mirar su reloj, dijo (en inglés): -Ya es tarde, tengo que entrar al estadio. Si puedes vender la entrada hazlo, sino entra al estadio-. Unos minutos después yo estaba entrando al Arena Stadium para ver el peor partido de la historia de los mundiales: Nigeria - Irán. Terminó 0 - 0. Se habrá pateado al arco tres veces en todo el juego.
