About Me

I like to do stupid things, new things and interesting things.
I love freedom (maybe there's some freudian explanation for this) and I hate plans so my solo trips always start off with one way tickets.

Do message me for any random meet-ups, I would love to show you around Singapore anytime I'm here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel especially to less popular places. As the cliche goes, energy is wasted on the young and money on the old. I would like to experience this wonderful world with all its sights, sounds and quirks and meet the amazing people who, in one way or another, find themselves stuck on this little rock.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a couple of times, with many amazing hosts. Financial difficulties prevent me from hosting as of now :(

Interests

Learning new ideas and meeting new people give me a ridiculous rush.
Diving is also pretty fun, but it gets pretty expensive so I dive only if there's something I really want to see.
I also read anything I can get my hands on.
I can also play the piano (terribly).

Music, Movies, and Books

Good literature of all sorts, I'm a nerd like that. I personally like American lit. though, especially Steinbeck and Vonnegut.
Also, academic philosophy, but noone cares about that...
In all honesty though, I read nearly everything but popular stuff.

For movies, PTA is my favourite director. Tarantino and Kurosawa are enjoyable too and I'm trying to get into Russian films.

Music I like funk and jazz and classical and blues.

I swear I'm not a hipster although this really reads like one damn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Way too many. Every trip is an adventure. Some stuff I've done:
Hiking in the Pamirs
Horse riding around Issy-kul
Diving amongst a school of baby sharks in Palau
Solo travelling many many times
etc...

Teach, Learn, Share

If I claim to be able to teach you something, RUN FAR AWAY!
Seriously though, I have an interest in card games/manipulation (especially contract bridge), and can probably teach you to swear in a bunch of chinese dialects.
I also like introducing people to the joy of philosophy, and playing devil's advocate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook, I clean (oh dear this is starting to sound like a resume), I try to leave everywhere slightly better than before.
Oh, and I can tell highly embellished tales from my travels.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, China, Georgia, Guam, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Micronesia, Federated States of, Palau, Philippines, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom
